Glenfinnan is a 4mm scale exhibition layout set in the 1970’s / 1980’s Blue diesel era.
The layout is DCC operated and all stock is ‘ Sound fitted ‘.
Measuring 4.01m x 2.24m ( 13’ 2 x 7’ 4 ) the layout forms a unique U- shaped end to end design having a fiddle yard at both ends.
Operation of the layout follows closely as possible the workings of the period and features scratchbuilt buildings and scenic details typical of the West Highland Line
Glenfinnan made it’s debut at ModelRail, Glasgow in February 2016 and was voted 3rd Best layout in show and also featured in Hornby magazine in May 2017.
